14.1 Theme Data

Inside the download file you also have a "Theme Data" folder. This folder contains .xml file from the live preview (post,pages).

Standard WordPress import/export .xml file doesn't include widget data.

Before importing theme data files, please install all the plugins that we used within the theme.

14.1.2 Plugins used with this theme:

CUSTOM THEME PLUGIN "Good Ol' Wine Custom Post Type Plugin" can be found inside "plugins" folder. Please install this one if you want to have custom post types like "Wine Products", "Timeline" and "Tasting Rooms"! Plugins mentioned below are not mandatory but if you want to have it like in the live preview you'll need to install them.

1. Good Ol' Wine features "Jetpack" plugin for WordPress that supercharge your website with features until now only available on WordPress.com. This plugin is used for the widget visibility, tiled gallery, contact form...

2. Soliloquy Slider with addons can be found inside the Plugins folder - more about it read inside chapter 1.5 on this page

3. Widget Import/Export: http://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-importer-exporter/ - plugin for importing widgets from theme live preview

4. WooCommerce: http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/ - used for shop page

5. The Events Calendar: http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar - the Events Calendar is a carefully crafted, extensible plugin that lets you easily share your events

6. Social Icons Widget: http://wordpress.org/plugins/social-media-icons-widget/ - Displays a list of social media website icons and a link to your profile.

 

14.2 How to import .xml file?

If you would like to import demo content (posts, pages (not the home page version just the main one)...) and start editing the theme from the created content rather than from scratch, you need to import the .xml file from the "Theme Data" folder. You can do this by going to the WordPress admin panel Tools -> Import -> Select -> WordPress and install "importer" plugin if you haven`t done that yet:

 

Activate the plugin and than choose .xml file to import:

 

14.3 How to import .wie file?

If you would like to import widget demo content, you need to import .wie file from the "Theme Data" folder. You can do this by going to the WordPress admin panel Tools -> Widget Import/export and import widget file:
